“I've had the privilege of going to some wonderful conferences in the past, but D6 is by far the best I've ever been to! From the caliber of speakers and topics to the incredible focal point on ministry within the family, every bit of it is simply right on! If there's one conference to go to in 2010, make it D6!”
“D6 was truly one of the most outstanding conferences I've ever attended!! The information shared was relevant, inspirational, God centered and family driven! Our Young Marrieds Minister and I attended together - and how great it was to be able to hear the same conference and be able to think thru how it affected our church and the ministries God has allowed us to be a part of! I know that D6 will be on my list for next year! I would encourage any church that is wanting to impact families in the most strategic way not to miss this conference. I'm thankful for Randall House and the sacrifice they are making to make this conference happen...you guys rock!!”
“D6 met and exceeded my expectations! I learned a great deal about family ministry and the impact it can and will have on today's families. The Lord has been leading me in this direction for some time and has now given me a partner to work with to see it come to fruition at my church and in my community. I am signed up for next year's conference and cannot wait to see what is in store. Any other churches wanting to help their families become D6 families will not want to miss this!”
“Generational faith is absolutely essential as we fulfill the Great Commission. It’s not automatic, nor is it easy. That’s why I appreciate the strategic vision of the D6 Conference to equip parents and church leaders to think biblically about how we foster Christian faith in the next generation. It’s a fresh presentation of a timeless and biblical mandate.”
“Our church sent a group of 6 people to the D6 conference: our Sr. Pastor, Children's Director, Youth Coordinator, Steward Board member, Children's Worker/Children's Choir Director, and Women's Ministry Leader. We each felt as if the conference had been designed just for us! Many of us in our church family have been sensing God's 'new' direction for us as a church for quite some time . . . the D6 concept just reaffirmed for us that we are hearing from God and heading in the direction He wants us to be headed in. We came away with renewed passion, great ideas and even a bit overwhelmed by all that lies ahead of us. We traveled all the way from North Carolina and it was time very well spent.”
“I had really great time at the D6 Conference. It was well worth the time and money. It was very encouraging for me to be with so many people who are passionate about family ministry. I got a lot of great ideas from the conference and have begun to implement them in my own ministry. The worship was uplifting and the time away to focus on my calling was refreshing. I was deeply moved by some of the speaker and their testimonies.”
“This conference is a must if you are seeking to build an effective stratedgy for ministering to families. The host of outstanding men and women of God that ministered to us this weekend ignited passion in my heart to build families for the kingdom. D6 is biblical, relational, and champions the family, for the glory of our great Lord Jesus.”
“What I valued most about the D6 Conference is the integrity of the speakers and the conference in general. Instead of pushing programs and products, they convicted us to first live out our faith at home before asking our congregations to live it out. They also provided many tools for us and our congregations to live out our faith at home. I will no doubt be back!”
“The 2009 D6 Conference was both refreshing and empowering. There is always great encouragement when you find others who are determined to make the home the center of spiritual formation. A fundamental shift is occurring in the church and D6 is leading from the front. The conference also empowered through current resources, broad networking, and creative thinking. Relevant speakers engaged our hearts and minds as they identified the problem of disconnected faith and then equipped us like an army for the frontline battle. I'm looking forward to D6 2010.”
“Wow! What an amazing conference focused on one theme! It was such a great opportunity to bring my whole team to be affirmed in our passion to helping families become the spiritual leaders. We have been discussing as a team ideas we learned for several months after the conference and are seeing God do amazing things in our families. We can't wait until next year to restock our ministry shelf with more practical ideas!”
“The D6 Conference gave our church staff resources that are significantly changing the way we do ministry. We are turning our ministry focus from solely creating dynamic children’s, youth and young adult ministries that work in isolation to collaborating to partner with and support parents...making them the heroes who point their young people to the Savior! We plan to return to the conference and bring more ministry leaders with us in 2010!”
“The key word I heard at D6 was "intentional". I loved the whole idea of being intentional, whether it is in our church programming or helping parents to see how they can be more involved spiritually with their children in their homes. It was good to see the different models that were out there and knowing that you can start first with what you are already doing by just changing it to have the parents as the spiritual trainers of their children. Before D6 I had a desire for parents to regain their Biblical position, but wasn't for sure how to make that happen. D6 gave me examples of possibilities, challenged me to be more creative in getting parents involved, and gave me a renewed passion.”
“In the past few years the conversation among ministry leaders has made an important course correction from 'What events or programs are reaching young people?' to 'What can we do as a church to reach and help families fulfill their biblical calling?' For the D6 team this is more than a conference, it's a part of their calling to help propel this conversation forward on a national level and see a generation of families changed for the better.”
“I really enjoyed the D6 Conference. It was a moving reminder of how the church needs to equip parents to teach about God in the home. Each speaker gave practical tips and formulas for churches to use in reaching the whole family. It reminded us of the importance of that great institution that God ordained; the home. I also appreciate that so many good resources were available at the conference, and certainly not the least of these being D6 Curriculum. We were inspired, taught, and challenged by the great variety of speakers and sessions. Thank you to Randall House for taking this bold step and hosting a conference that was crucial to the church and the family. I enjoyed this one and plan to attend next year. I hopefully will bring some church leaders along the next time.”
“The D6 Conference was incredible. Great speakers, great vendors, great environment and relevant information. As a children’s minister, I loved the single focus of the conference, “bringing the family back together.” It was nice to attend a conference that everyone was heading in the same direction with the same goal in mind.”
“The most fertile and important mission field for evangelism and discipleship is our own children. But the statistics tell us millions growing up in Christian families right now will NOT embrace Christianity as adults. That's why I am excited that the D6 Conference seeks to inspire and equip leaders to become intentional about spiritual formation at home.”
“Any leader worth their salt has always dreamed of being a vital part of something significant, a movement, a kingdom, something eternal. The great news is that D6 is accomplishing all three of these at the same time. D6 is helping me think through my walk with Christ, biblical fatherhood, and intentional leadership in Rejoice Church. So, come join the D6 movement for the kingdom of Christ and be a part of something eternal.”
“Leaders around the country are discovering that the role of the Church is not to replace parents, but to enable them to pass on the baton of faith to their own children. The D6 Conference is a strategic gathering of church leaders to develop practical, down-to-earth, methods and models to see the vision of faith driven at home thrive in ministries across this country and around the world. I hope to see you and your team there.”
“What an amazing event! The D6 Conference was a great opportunity to learn and experience how to bring parents and children together. As a dad and a student minister, my world was rocked! I was reminded of what true biblical parenting is all about. It was life changing for me! I highly recommend this conference to church leaders, as well as, moms and dads! Thank you, Randall House, for your efforts to change this generation!”
“In recent years I have made it a top priority to help youth ministers see the biblical and practical importance of equipping parents to reach the students in their own home for Christ. The D6 Conference will be an unprecedented gathering of today's most influential leaders in the world of family ministry. All will be tackling one conversation: how do we equip parents to transfer their faith and values to their kids. This is one of the most important conversations in church leadership today. I hope to see you and your team there.”
“The D6 Conference is perfect timing. Some are calling the faith at home movement a mega trend. I am calling it the family tsunami. Now is the time for churches, pastors and leaders to come together at the D6 Conference and make an intentional shift in how we train parents and disciple students.”
“If you are looking for insight into family ministry professionally and support for what you are doing personally, look no further than the D6 Conference. It's practical, challenging and encouraging all at the same time.”
“2009 D6 Conference Endorsement: Being able to play a key role in the recent purity movement has been a huge honor for me in God's kingdom, but being a husband and father to my family is one thing in my life that has topped it. As fathers, we have very little chance of passing down values like purity to our children if we don't intentionally take the necessary time to hand off the ball to them properly. This is one of the central topics in the faith at home conversation. I hope that you will join me and many other leaders, pastors and front liners as we meet together at D6, the gathering place for this critical movement.”
“2009 Conference Endorsement: Today parents want and need to be encouraged and equipped to play the lead role in their kids' spiritual development. Deuteronomy 6 tells us that this won't happen in Sunday school alone, but happens most effectively in every day life at the crossroads of D6 moments. Proverbs 31 Ministries is excited to be part of D6, a groundbreaking conference. Join us as we gather with church leaders and ministries dedicated to helping today's moms and dads grow spiritual champions in the midst of today's hectic pace and cultural pull away from godly principles. I can't wait for this event and hope to meet you there!”
“2009 Conference Endorsement: The encouragement you speak into the lives of single parents may be the difference maker in the lives of their kids. I know, because I have been on the receiving end of that encouragement myself. As leaders and ministers, we have an important job to equip and encourage single parents. The D6 Conference is hitting this critical issue head on, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I hope you will join me there.”
“I am very excited about the D6 Conference and the entire purpose of this ministry. I believe with all of my heart that simple steps of honoring what the D and the 6 stand for could transform churches and any ministry dealing with training the next generation. Will our children and grandchildren have the faith of their parents? The D6 Conference addresses this question biblically and strategically. Parents are the key. Families are the cornerstone to God's plan of connecting our faith to the next generation.”
